Shopping Centres Munich Most people love the big shopping malls in Munich: they often offer unlimited parking, a roof over your head and lots of shops and restaurants for spending a nice time at any weather. There are three big ones in Munich.
Bavaria's largest shopping centre
Everything was ready just in time for the 1972 Olympic Games. It was then that the Olympia Einkaufszentrum, called OEZ for short, opened its doors and presented what at that time was a completely new type of shopping. In the course of the decades Bavaria's largest shopping centre has been expanded even further and modernised. An innovative world of shopping established itself as an attraction for the region.
Shopping under glass domes
The OEZ presents itself on two light-flooded levels as a multi-faceted shopping landscape. Department stores, 135 trendy shops, large clothing businesses as well as many attractive cafés and restaurants under the impressive glass roof turn a stroll through the centre into a relaxed shopping experience.
Boulevard and trends
Not only exclusive labels and current fashion trends are represented, but almost everything that enriches and inspires life: individual accessories, the very latest beauty products and market-fresh foods. In the Olympia Einkaufszentrum it is not only pleasant to go on a stroll, rummage around and try on clothes, but also to enjoy a gourmet meal to your heart's content. Whether fish or meat, vegetables or pasta, German cuisine or exotic culinary delights – the gastronomic choice in the OEZ is diverse and attracts the gourmet into the world of shopping.
Creative events, such as fashion shows and exhibitions, contribute to the wide-ranging ambience of the Olympia Einkaufszentrum, turning a look around the shops into a very special experience for young and old, even when it is wet and windy outside.
